Initially founded by the Waikato Society of Arts and its volunteers, Portfolio has supplied and promoted contemporary NZ artwork in the Waikato region for nearly 40 years. We have a strong passion for art of all types and believe it should be accessible to everyone. Working closely with our clients, we strive to deliver beautiful art best suited to your space, taste and budget.
Art hire provides an opportunity to display artworks at a fraction of their market value, which means you can regularly change what is on your walls to fit an intended purpose. Some of our clientele just need to fill a gap, while others want to inspire, provoke thought, and create dialogue - whatever your space, a Portfolio representative is here to help you through the process, from selecting artwork to installation.
Consultation.
While guiding you through our extensive catalogue of artwork, a Portfolio representative can offer advice on what pieces best complement your space.
Hire & sale.
Hire periods range between 6 and 12 months. You can always rehire an artwork, or if you can't imagine your space without it, you can buy it too.
Installation.
If you like something different every few months, ask us about our hanging systems that allow you to change artwork regularly without all the holes.
